World Food Day is an international day celebrated on October 16th to raise awareness about global hunger, food security, and sustainable agriculture. It is important for Seascale Primary School to learn about it so we can understand the importance of healthy eating, appreciate the food we have, and develop a sense of responsibility in contributing to a more sustainable world.

World Food Day 2024
http://www.fao.org/world-food-day/en It's a universal principle of life. A fundamental human right. Everyone should have access to enough, nutritious, diverse, affordable and safe foods. It starts with nature. A journey from our farms to our tables. Where we come together to celebrate our cultural identities. "World Food Day: food is a right, every day."
