Aim High

Week Beginning 18/5/20

Well done to the children who have earned certificates on Lexia ๐Ÿ’ป, Mathletics๐Ÿ… and Numbots ๐Ÿค– this week! ๐ŸŒŸ

Hello Beech Class! ๐Ÿ˜

I love hearing about all the creative and exciting ways you have been keeping busy. Who knew before lockdown that you could play hide and seek via WhatsApp?! ๐Ÿ“ฑ Or practise times tables while jumping on a trampoline?! Or read your family a bedtime story via FaceTime?! Amazing! ๐ŸŒŸ

Even though it has been a bit chilly, I have been on lots of beautiful walks around Keswick with Charlie - with a few extra layers on! ๐Ÿพโ›…๏ธ

I have also been logging on to Duolingo every day to learn and practise my French. It has been lovely to hear so many of you practising different languages at home too! If you would like to, try Crickweb for some fun French activities, or use Duolingo for any language!

In this week's choices, lots of the maths activities are linked to times tables again so we can keep up with our practice! โœ–๏ธโž— I am impressed that more of you are using TTRS. Well done and a special well done to Tiarnan for earning the most coins! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐ŸŽธ

This week's topic is celebrations. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆYou might find out about different festivals and traditions, plan your own party, or celebrate the achievements of you and your friends. I look forward to seeing what you do!

Also, it is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme is kindness. heart I am sure you are already making sure your friends and family are cared for and loved. Maybe you could do something special to let someone know you are thinking of them?

Have a lovely week,

Miss Conroy ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿฆ’๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒผ
