Platinum Jubilee
Plant a tree for the Jubilee
Mitie came into school to help our Year 5 children plant an oak tree for the Platinum Jubliee. The children were very eager to get stuck in and really enjoyed themselves.
We designed some beautiful pictures to mark the Jubilee. Some of our pictures were taken to Drigg Gala to be displayed, another exhibition and at school. We're very proud of them all.
We had lots of fun designing bunting for Ravenglass ratty.
Once we'd designed some bunting for the ratty we used fabric crayons to have another go at some bunting for our school decorations.
We made some crowns and they look very regal!
In preperation for our picnic we made different sandwiches.
