Investigating gravity by seeing how mass affects how quickly an object falls to the ground.
Investigating the effects of air resistance by designing different parachutes and timing them to see how long each one fell to the ground. We thought about how we might change the shape, size or material of the parachute.
To investigate water resistance, we created two shapes plasticine: one which we thought would sink faster due to having less water resistance, and one that would sink slower due to having more water resistance.
Then we tested our designs!
