This half term we were introduced to the micro:bit. We looked at the micro:bit and identified the inputs and outputs available. We then explored the MakeCode block based environment which would enable us to program the Micro:bit
We then learnt how to connect the micro:bit to our netbooks via the USB port and connect it. We created programs that made the lights show our names, then downloaded them to the micro:bit.

In groups we discussed which algorithm would allow the micro:bit to play rock-paper-scissors.
We made the micro:bit into a rock, paper, Scissor game and a dice.
