Friendship Stories

When we returned from home learning, we did a lot of work in Jigsaw around friendships, and getting on and falling out. We noticed we sometimes found it tricky to include everyone, and thought the younger children would be feeling the same. We read ‘Giraffe is left out’ and wrote our own stories with a message about common friendship problems.

We thought carefully about our target audience and made our stories relatable for young children, with bold pictures and simple sentences.
