Relationships

For our first lesson we thought about ways to build our self-esteem. We thought about what these words meant to us. 

We then thought about our personality and what our positive personal qualities were. After that, we repeated this task for a friend and enjoyed seeing the results!

For our next two lessons, we have thought about being part of online communities. To begin with, we discussed situations online that we thought were safe or unsafe and talked about those we were unsure of. 

Then, we gave children different examples of online groups as a scenario and children had to think about the risks, then what their rights and responsibilities would be. 

As part of safeguarding awareness week we took part in the TES live lesson with the NSPCC. We learned how to keep ourselves safe, how to develop healthy relationships including whilst being online and discussed who our safe adults are. 

We used everything we have learned to create an online safety poster.
