Seascale Primary School

Aim High

May Half Term

Hello Beech Class,

Happy Half Term! 😃🎉

I know lots of you are going to do a bit of work this week to keep a routine, while others are having a well-deserved rest. Either way, I hope you have a wonderful week.

Beech Class Video 📺

Inspired by Mrs Merry and Miss Jackson, I would like to create a video especially for YOU and about YOU!

If you would like to take part, please send me a picture(s) or video (up to 15 seconds long) telling me things you love about Beech Class and Seascale School. 💚

Is it...

Making dens in the woodland classroom? 🌿 Learning about a particular subject? 🔬

Playing football with your friends? ⚽️ Reading a class story? 📖

FINALLY getting your school dinner after a long morning working hard? 🍝

Whatever it is, I would love for you to share!

Your contribution could be

  • You talking about what you love
  • One or more pictures
  • Writing (photograph or screenshot)
  • Narrated drawings
  • Stop motion animation (lots of you have impressed me with this!)
  • Or any other fantastic ideas you might have!

Just a couple of rules:

  • You don't have to take part, so don't worry if you don't want to!
  • If you do take part, you don't have to physically be in the photo/video.
  • Please don't use any children's names.
  • Keep videos 15 seconds or shorter.

Please upload to Evidence Me or email to Mrs Jackie. If we have enough content, I will upload the video on Monday 1st June, but any late entries can be added too. I look forward to seeing them! 🤩

This week, stay active to help you feel healthy inside and out! I especially love the astronaut training challenge here! 👩‍🚀🪐💫🧑‍🚀

Below are lots of brilliant challenges and activities you might like to get involved in. There is a bit of everything so hopefully you find something you'd like to do. Click on the titles for more info.

Remember, these are only suggestions in case you are looking for something to do!

Have a great week!

Miss Conroy 😊🦒😃

Seascale Gardeners to help EYFS Garden

Famous Cumbrians

There have been many local heroes in the past. Some of them may not be as well-remembered as others, but it’s important to learn about people from Cumbria who have made a difference.

Art Challenge

Listen to the story of Maria and all the Grannies (Nonnas) of the World: A story of kindness. After listening, you might be inspired to illustrate one of your relatives. 🖍✏️🎨

Bradbury House Pen Pals

These are all the amazing letters and cards Seascale have sent to Bradbury House already! Wow! I am sure they made the residents very happy. Just like us, the residents have been in lockdown quite a while now and may enjoy another pick me up if you can! What pictures or writing might they like to receive? ✉️📮
