Who's Who

Come and meet the staff at our school.

Mrs Spencer has taught at Seascale for many years.
She has taught in several different counties as well as in Scotland and Indonesia.

She currently has curriculum responsibility for Computing, English and Science.

Mrs Spencer is also the Designated Safetguarding Officer. 

In her spare time she  loves to spend time at her allotment and travelling to new places.

Mrs Thompson is our Year 3 class teacher for Willow Class. 

Mrs Thompson is our SEND Co-ordinator, our Domestic Violence Champion and our Youth Mental Health First Aider. She is also on our Safeguarding Team. She leads training for the Autism Education Trust in Cumbria, in partnership with Cumbria's Inclusion Service.

Mrs Thompson takes the curricular lead for Art and Design.

Mrs Merry is part of our Foundation Stage Team co-ordinating the unit and teaching the Reception  children.  She has a wide experience of teaching children in Early Years settings.

Mrs Merry leads the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, RE and Music.

Using her expertise, Mrs Merry also takes the lead on Forest School activities which we carry out in our school grounds.

Mrs Wells is our Year 5 teacher in Maple Class. Mrs Wells is the curricular lead for English and takes a whole school lead on assessment.

Mrs Thomas is our school Business Administrator.


Miss Little is our Year 1 and 2 class teacher for Alder class.



Mrs Holliday is the Year 4 teacher in Birch. She takes the curricular lead for Maths and Modern Foreign Languages throughout the school.

Mrs Crowther is the class teacher for Year 5 and Year 6 in Maple Class. She takes the curricular lead for History and Geography in school.

Miss Jackson is the part of our Foundation Stage Team, leading the Nursery sessions each morning.  In the afternoon she teaches classes throughout the school delivering a variety of lessons such as Music, R.E and P.E.

Miss Jackson is the school lead on 'Better Ways to School', contact her if you would be interested in participating in a Walking Bus. She is also our Education Visits Co-ordinator and supports our Sports Council.

Mrs Raywood works in Alder class each morning to support children with additional needs. As a Reading Intervention trained professional, she may also support children in other classes. Mrs Raywood is a keen gardener who is supporting our school in working towards our green flag accreditation.

Miss West is part of our Foundation Stage Team working with both Nursery and Reception children each morning. She also works throughout the school teaching Computing, and supporting staff and children in accessing Information Technology.

During lunchtime, Miss West is Senior Lunch time Supervisor, supporting children with lunches and out in the playground. 

Mrs Carnall is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. She supports children's learning in Alder and Willow Class and provides one to one support for children with additional needs.


Mrs Cormack supports the children across the school with their work, and develops bespoke curriculums and packages for children with additional needs. She takes a lead on planning additional support for reading, phonics, spelling and writing.

Miss Harvey-Chadwick provides 1:1 support for children with additional needs. She is our qualified ELSA in school (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and supports children in one-to-one sessions, as well as in small groups.

Mrs Baker is a TA and provides 121 support for children in school with additional needs. She takes a lead on Phunky Foods, Tuck Shop and Cookery Club in school

Miss Rogers supports children in Birch Class and Willow Class. She is undertaking a Teaching Assistant apprenticeship with us.

Mrs Johnstone is a TA and provides 121 support for children with additional needs. She supports children in Willow, Alder and Maple classes.

Mrs Jones is an apprentice TA and supports children in Willow and Maple classes.
