Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
We brought our half term to a close with a celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. In class, we completed royal themed artwork for the Drigg Gala and Santon Way celebrations and in music we began to learn the National Anthem using our voices and glockenspiels. We ended off the week by preparing our own picnic, which we enjoyed outside with the rest of the school on Friday afternoon.
