Being Me
The Class Charter
As part of this unit, we created our class charter. We talked about what being safe, being caring and being ready looked like. We compiled our ideas onto the board. We then went through each one and talked about what we thought would be school rules and what was most appropriate for our class charter.
We thought about the things we need in order to be able to learn.
In our next lesson, we came up with ideas for a new game based on random object each group had been given! This led to a discussion about whether they needed rules to make them fair. We then talked about why we have rules in society. Have a look at some of the ideas we can up with.

After this discussion, we looked back at the posters we made last week and thought about our rights and responsibilities linked to this. We then added consequences and rewards for following through with our responsibilities.
