Our topic is addition and subtraction.
We started our addition and subtraction topic by recapping on number bonds to 10. We use actions to remember that two parts make a whole.
Today we used our knowledge of number bonds to 10 to learn about our number bonds to 100.
This week we have been using our knowledge of number bonds to work out some tricky addition sums. Including adding 3, 1-digit numbers.
This week we have moved on to subtraction. We have been using rekenreks and tens frames to support our understanding.
