Lila and the secret of rain
Our book that we are reading in English is ‘Lila and the secret of rain‘.
We began our topic by discussing different types of weather. We chose a favourite and least favourite type of weather and wrote about why we thought this.
In our second lesson, we explored different images from villages in Africa as our story is set in Kenya. We spoke about what we could see and wrote down some noun phrases.
Today, we wrote the story of Lila and the Secret of rain in our own words. We included lots of noun phrases to make our writing more interesting to the reader.
