Place value
Our topic for Autumn 1 is place value.
We started our topic by looking at 2-digit numbers and identifying the tens and ones. We then had a go at writing and recognising numbers to 20.
Learning how to use a place value chart. Using our knowledge of base 10, we used a place value chart to draw tens and ones to represent a 2-digit number. Our partner then had to work out what number we had made.
Today we have been practicing writing numbers 0-10 in words.
Practicing counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. We really enjoy watching Jack Hartmann videos and singing along to help us remember our times tables.
