Our topic for Summer 1 is ‘The creation story’.
Today we experienced what it would be like to celebrate Passover. We had Matzo (a Jewish flat bread) and tried lots of different things from a real Seder plate (missing some things due to allergies). We sat in a circle on comfy cushions, drank juice and had a fun time.
This week in R.E we have been talking about the burning bush that God spoke to Moses through. We used lots of warm colours to create a piece of art to represent the burning bush.
In our first week of this Topic, we learnt about the story of Exodus. We discussed Moses being a leader and had a think about what a leader is. We chose someone from our lives who is a leader to us (Mrs Spencer) and wrote down why we thought she was a good leader and what she does for us in School.
