Locate countries in Europe

We began our learning by using atlases to find different countries in Europe and their corresponding capital cities.

Country study

We spent some time doing some individual research on a different country to create a fact file. We then played 'country bingo' where we had to find six different facts from our classmates about six different countries.

Exploring tourism in the Mediterranean

Today we spent some time in groups researching four different countries; France, Italy, Spain and Greece. We researched local places of interest to visit, key facts about the country, phrases in the spoken language.

During our lessons we also had a taster of a variety of foods from the countries and had Mediterranean music playing while we worked.
