Place Value (within 100)
We did a great job at recapping on number bonds we had learnt in Year 1, using Numicon to help us.
We have been learning about tens and ones in our place value lessons. We have also been learning about how to represent 2-digit numbers on a place value chart.
We have been learning how to partition 2 digit numbers into 10’s and 1’s using a part-whole model.
Today we learned to write numbers as words, up to one hundred.
We have been revisiting part-whole models. We used part-whole models to learn how to partition 2-digit numbers into 10s and 1s.
We have done lots of singing, dancing and playing games to help us with learning to count on 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.
