Learning multiplication is crucial for all elements of Mathematics. Have a look at the 'How to learn Times Tables at home' guides from Third Space Learning below.

In addition to Times Tables teaching each year there is a multiplication tables check in Year 4. Click here to read the Government guidance on the check for parents

We use Times Tables Rockstars, click below to read the parent guide.

At KS1 maths games are a great way to motivate, engage and inspire children while still having fun. Children in key stage 1 are ready to start practising and developing a whole range of maths concepts and skills, particularly their fluency and strategic thinking.

At KS2, maths games are also fantastic for enabling children to explore fundamental number concepts and they can allow children to take learning further, through the deepening of mathematical understanding and reasoning skills.
