Romans

Before looking at the impact of the romans we needed to establish life before. We looked at daily life in the Iron Age before embarking on a job hunt.

After finding the jobs we held a job fair were the children could tell everybody about their job in the Iron Age.

We looked at the Roman army and what made them a formidable force. Deciding that we wanted to be the Willow Legion we designed our shields.

After making our shields we got into formation and practised being a legion by walking in line and protecting each other at all times.

We took a closer look at Roman life and how the Roman army lived in Britain. Following this we turned our hand to pottery and made some clay pots in a Roman style.
