Invest in Our Planet

This years Earth Day theme is 'Invest in Our Planet'

We learnt about what Earth Day is, when it started and why it is so important. We talked about biodiversity and how humans are affecting this. 

We discussed how amazing our planet is including medicines, food and air and how everything is connected. 

Finally we discussed what investing in our future actually looked like; building a prosperous future, building healthy cities, countries and economies and the power of individuals.

As part of The Great Cumbrian Litterpick, that was on the same day as Earth Day, we went to our long term study area and conducted our own.

We conducted a bit of research and completed some LBQs all about Climate Change and the human effect and will further this by linking to blogging in Computing.
