Deserts
We began the unit by learning about the features of deserts and then used this to write a postcard home, describing the climate.

After this, we used atlases to locate the largest desert in each continent.
We learned about the physical features of deserts.
We used this to write in role as a desert.
To finish our unit, we wrote a letter to a family thinking of moving to the desert. We had to weigh up the pros and cons and come to a conclusion.

In English, we used what we had learned about deserts to add more information to a sentence as a relative clause!
