Plants
In Science, we are learning about plants. We began be recapping on the parts of a plant that we had previously learnt last year. We then learnt all about the importance of each part of the plant in regards to photosynthesis.
In Science, we have been comparing the effect of different factors on plant growth. As a class we decided to carry out an investigation. We put a bulb in some soil and placed it in the fridge to see if a plan could survive in cold temperatures. We also put a bulb in some sand to see if a plant could grown without soil. Both bulbs did not sprout.
In this lesson we used celery to observe how water is transported through a plant.
