Calling all Gardeners!

New Early Years Outdoor Area.

 

With the demolition of the old school comes the wonderful opportunity to plan for our new and extensive outdoor area for the Nursery and Reception children. As you can imagine we have lots of exciting ideas to develop! Right now we are thinking about gardening and planting and wondering if you might be able to help?

 

We would like to include a herb garden, a vegetable patch, a flower area, a sensory area and a wildlife friendly area. We are looking to plant varieties of flowers that will attract bees and butterflies from early spring to autumn, climbing plants, plants with interesting textures or interesting scents and plants that spread quickly and of course flowers of lots of different colours!

 

If you are gardening and planting over the next few weeks and have plants to split or surplus stock, it would be fabulous if you were able to put it on one side for us to help us plant out our new area when we eventually get back to school. Please spread the word if you can!
