Nursery and Reception Trip to Strudda Bank Farm

Travelling by coach was very exciting!

Farmer Kev told us how to keep safe on the farm.

Then the adventure began!

Some of us were brave enough to touch a mole.

It was so soft!

The mole had big paws for digging.

Next we went to the owl Barn.

Wow look at us sitting on straw bales!

Farmer Kev told us all about oats and wheat and barley.

We used our senses to find out about them.

We learned about how they are used as food for humans and animals

Then we went to feed the cows.

After that we got onto the tractors.

We met the emus and saw an emu egg.

We collected hens eggs.

Saw eggs in the incubator

and newly hatched chicks.

Then it was time to go back to school.

Thank you Strudda Bank Farm, we had a great day out.
