  • Remembrance Thank you letter

    Mon 04 Dec 2023

We were delighted to receive this letter of thanks from James Dickaty, President of Seascale & District Royal British Legion. Our Year 6 children, with the help of Mrs Crowther and Mrs Baker, gave a moving Remembrance Service, and welcomed veterans young and old, alongside the wider Seascale community, to share in their learning.

  • Anti-Bullying Week

    Mon 13 Nov 2023

Last week we were learning about ways to tackle bullying during Anti-Bullying Week. We are learning how to make a noise about bullying, and our new team of Key Stage 2 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors will launch "Call It Out" for all pupils this week.

They will be supporting all pupils to Make A Noise and to Call It Out

  • Remembrance Assembly by Year 6

    Fri 10 Nov 2023

Our Year 6 children lead a moving Remembrance Assembly that was very well attended by parents and families. The children shared their learning from across the curriculum and their examples of writing, art, cookery and song showed the depth and breadth of their studies this term. The quality of their presentation was exemplary and many of the audience were moved to tears by the beauty of their words, especially their version of The White Cliffs of Dover. We were honoured to be joined by Adam Matthews, who lead our observation of the 2 minute silence. Thank you also to members of the Royal British Legion who joined the school community in our act of Remembrance.
