How have schools changed?

On Monday we dug into the archives and explored photographs of the old school building and compared them to our school building today. We also looked at old buildings used as a girls school and prep school and used what we learnt in art to do some detailed drawing.

As part of our history and after comparing our experiences of school to parents and grandparents, we explored what schools were like during the Victorian Era. We were lucky enough to take part in an online (not very Victorian I know) workshop led by Beamish Museum where we took part in a Victorian style lesson.
