World Book Day 2026

Apologies for the late post but what a day we’ve had celebrating World Book Day 📚 As a school we used the book ‘The Lights that Dance in the Night’  We linked to our work on geometry in Maths and created some beautiful northern lights pictures by making a range of polygons. Next we made links to our work on survival in Science and discussed the range of arctic animals we came across during the story. We talked about how they moved came up with a variety of verbs to write some wonderful poetry about them. I absolutely loved seeing all of the children’s costumes today.
