School Day

Our School Day:

Registration - 8.45am

Morning Break - 10.45 - 11am

Lunch - 12.00 - 1.00pm

End of Day - 3.15pm

School gates are opened at 8.40am.  Early Years and Infant children enter school by the main entrance gate and wait outside their external classroom doors.  Junior children enter via the side gate and then wait outside their external classroom doors.  Teachers greet the children into class every morning.  

School finishes at 3.15pm.  The gates will be open and Early Years and Infant children are collected directly from their exterior classroom door and sent out by a member of staff when the person collecting is seen.  All junior children will be dismissed through their exterior classroom doors and through the side gate.  Junior children will only be permitted to walk home if we have parental consent.

We are open for 32 hours and 30 mins per week.

Snack and water

Infant children receive a free portion of fruit or vegetable, as part of a government initiative, every day. However, they are also welcome to bring a healthy snack from home. Junior children bring in their own healthy snacks from home.  We ask all children bring a freshly filled water bottle to school every day and they have access to fresh water to refill it if needed. There is a water fountain available in the main school corridor.

Dinner time

Dinner begins at 11.50am for Nursery and 12pm for Reception and Infants.  Junior children play out from 12pm and have their dinner at 12.20pm

All children have a playtime on their yard during dinnertime which finishes by 1 pm. Reception and Infant children receive Universal Free School meals.  Dinner costs £3.19 per meal for Junior children and £2.55 for Nursery children.
