The Pathway of Light
We took part in mini experiments to understand and be able to confidently describe the pathway of light and used evidence to form conclusions.
See the Light
We modelled light reflection by using string to represent a ray of light. Once we had modelled different scenarios we drew ray diagrams to show that and discussed how the eye works.
Measuring Shadows
We took part in some mini shadow challenges and discussed the questions;
- What factors affect the size and shape of a shadow?
- Is a shadow always grey or black?
- Why does the shape of the shadow match the shape of the object?
Shadow Challenge
We took part in an experiment where, in groups of three, we investigated the size of a shadow.
