Sports - non-chronogical reports

Learning about the format of non-chronological reports

We looked at the way pictures and text were organised in a page to keep the reader interested and to provide different types of factual information.

The children worked collaboratively to create a mock up of a non-chronological report on a sport of their choice. They used heading, sub-headings, pictures, captions and started to think about how a glossary helps the reader.

Presenting information using powerpoint

Following their own interests, children used websites to research factual information about their chosen sport. They used this research, alongside editing and word processing skills, to create visually interesting, non-chronological reports. After the report, they all chose to add a page explaining their choice of sport. We hope you enjoy reading them.
