Homework 21.10.20
As it's half term next week, there are no spellings or class-based homework. Instead, we have set two pieces of whole school homework, should you wish to take part.
Homework 1 - Cookery Book Competition.
Aspiration in the Kitchen - Lockdown Cookery Book Competition
Please encourage your child to enter this exciting cookery competition, which is a local initiative for school children in West Cumbria. It is being sent home as a whole school homework project for over the half term holidays.
What you child needs to do:
- Select their favourite recipe – sweet or savoury (they don’t need to actually make the recipe)
- Work out the costs of the ingredients (no more than £7.50) and provide a cost per person
- Write about why they have chosen the recipe (max 50 words)
- Draw or take a picture of their recipe

Homework 2 - Christmas Card design
As in previous years, Friends of Seascale School have organised for you to order your very own personalised Christmas cards if you wish. Details can be found on this week's school newsletter.
