Nursery

At Seascale Nursery and Primary School we offer provision for 3-5 year olds who are eligible for up to 30 hours childcare.

Children are able to join us at Seascale Nursery and Primary School the term after they turn 3 years old. We provide care from 8:45am to 12:00pm, or for full day sessions from 8:45am to 15:15pm, for children who are eligible for the 15 or 30 hours of Nursery provision. At Seascale Nursery and Primary School we are able to offer flexibility in the hours we can offer you to suit your needs. Even if you are only able to access the standard 15 hours of childcare, this can be spread over the course of full days rather than 5 morning sessions.
 

At Seascale Nursery and Primary School we are fortunate to work together, as part of a team, with the Reception Class Teacher also based in our Foundation Stage unit.  We have found being based in the same learning environment and working closely together helps to the children to build a firm platform for a smoother transition when their time comes to enter formal education in the Reception Class.

We work closely with other Early Years providers within our local community. We have strong links with our local private Nursery PJs, with some children attending their setting before or after school club to meet parents' requirements. We also have good working relationships with local childminders in the community.
