Week 7 18/5/2020
Hi Year 1,
I hope your all keeping well and having fun at home. I spoke to lots of you last week and I really enjoyed hearing about everything you have been doing with your families. We've had a very exciting week at my house because we got our puppy on Wednesday! She is very cute and she is a Cockapoo called Sally. I am sure you will see lots of photos of her having fun with Freddy on his adventures. This week is all about celebrations and remembering times where you have enjoyed special occasions.

Computing Home Learning Week Commencing 18th May
Year 1
As your Home Learning theme this week is Celebrations, Miss West thought we would learn how to make sprites (character animals or people) dance as every good party needs music and dancing.
For your second lesson using the Scratch Jr app, you will be introduced to background, sprites and write an algorithms (set of instructions) to make your sprites dance.

If you don’t have access to the app you could do the unplugged Dance Move activity - you will make up a dance routine and create the instructions for a partner to follow
