Installation Art
We began the unit by comparing similarities and differences between a range of pieces of installation art. We then chose one to think more deeply about.
We then learned about the artist Cai Guo-Qiang, and created our own explosion art by applying stencils to boxes and splattering with paint. We then removed the stencils and photographed our artwork, imagining what it would be like on a larger scale. This allowed us to think about the size and scale of installation art.
